Family history

He was the son of Albert Ernest and Louisa Green and the brother of Norman Reginald, Ernest Theodore and Nora Green. In 1921, the family lived at 27, Bishop Street and in 1939 at 83, Nottingham Road (both Eastwood, Nottinghamshire).

Military history

Fatally injured when he came off his motorcycle at high speed on a bend at Bridge End near Saffron Walden sliding into an oncoming van. He died shortly after admission from multiple injuries including a fractured skull and multiple ribs (via Jon Heyworth and rafcommands.com)
