Family history

He was the son of Gilbert Basil and Nellie Revett Blunden née Tanner of Grove House, Clare Valley, The Park, Nottingham. His Father a Senor Inspector of taxes for HM Government, the family lived in Finchley, North London, Canterbury and finally in The Park, Nottingham. Kenneth had a sister Beryl Mary (Botting) who was born 1912.

Military history

His original Service Number was 937189. He was commissioned 19 October 1940 from Leading Aircraftman.

Stirling I N6020 took off 2102 25 Aug 1941 from Oakington. Crashed at Trier Germany due to a combination of battle damage and adverse weather. (rafcommands.com)
