RAFVR. Died 21st March 1941. His plane, a Beaufighter
R2070, malfunctioned and hit the ground at Manor Farm,
Eastergate, near Chichester, Sussex. Interred St. Bartholomew
churchyard, Hanworth, Norfolk, his home village. Employed
in Notts. County Council's architects office, he had joined the
RAFVR in December 1938 and was called up on 1st September
1939. Age 22. Son of Richard & Christina Marshall Gee, of
Hanworth; husband of Ida Joan Gee (née Bentley) [l.m.1940], of
33 Lenton Boulevard [n.e.p.25.3.1941 & e.1945].

He was the son of Richard and Christina Marshall Gee of Hanworth. He was the husband of Ida Joan Gee of Lenton, Nottingham. In 1939, Victor Gee was single and lodging at 343, Derby Road, Lenton. His widow married Walter Desmond Vernon [l.m.1948].

Military history

His aircraft a Beaufighter R2070 malfunctioned and crashed at Manor Farm, Eastergate near Chichester. (LT 27 page 20).
