Daughter of the William Henry (1879-1937), and Eliza Ann Cooper. Half sister to Harold Hall (Eliza's son by her first husband Frederick Hall) and sister to Edith and Adeline.
CWGC Additional information: 'Of 12 Pinfold Lane, Balderton. Daughter of the late W. H., and E. A. Cooper. Injured at Ransome and Marles, Beacon Hill; died same day at General Hospital.'
7 March 1941 Ransome & Marles Bearing Works Newark Bombing. 41 killed 160+ injured. Attack by 2 Heinkel He 111's of Kampfgeschwader 4 "General Wever" based in the Netherlands. Enid recovered from the site and taken to Newark General Hospital. Died later that day from internal lacerations, blast injuries (blast lung). Buried St Giles churchyard, Balderton, 12 March 1941.
