Private John William Smith enlisted at Hucknall, he served with the 18th battalion Sherwood Foresters Regiment, he died on 26th January 1916, at Derby he is buried at Hucknall Cemetery, Nottigham, Plot : B. North : Row : 466 : Grave : 18.
