Family history

Ernest Albert Heath was born in 1879 at Longton, Lancashire, he was the husband of Annie Getrude Marshall of The Primrose Inn, Wright Street, Blue Bell Hill Road, St Ann's Nottingham.

He married his wife in 1902 their marriage was recorded in the Basford registration district.

In the 1911 census he is living with his wife at 19 Union Road, Nottingham, Ernest is 30yrs and is a beer house keeper,he is livingwith his wife Annie 42 yrs and his wife sister Amy Marshall 27 yrs he has stated on the census that they have been married 8 years and have no children.

Military history

Corporal Ernest Albert Heath enlisted in Nottingham, he served with the 3rd Motor Transprt Company. Army Service corps. He died of malaria in the Colaba war hospital, Bombay (Mumbai) on 27th September 1919 his name is commemorated on the Kirkee War Memorial, India.
