Family history

Thomas William Costello married Mabel Rogers (born 22nd February 1889 ) they were married in 1911 at Bridgwater, Somerset. They lived at 30 Beverley Street St Ann's Well Road Nottingham and had the following children Marion born 5th June 1912, Phyllis born 11th October 1913 and Irene born 14th July 1916.

In 1914 Thomas was living at 17 Manning Grove, Nottingham, he was a tailor.

Commencing 2nd June 1919 his widow was awarded a pension of 29 shillings and 11 pence a week.

Military history

Private William Thomas Costello enlisted and served wit the service number 256446 with the 500 Employment Company, Labour Corps, he died of influenza and bronchitis on 20th November 1918 at the Berridge Road Military Hospital , Nottingham (a converted school).
