Henry Wilson was baptised on 24th August 1879 at St Johns Church, (Leenside)Nottingham,
he was the son of William Richard a house painter and Theresa Wison née Brown of 3 Bleasby Strret,Sneinton, Nottingham.

His father William Richard was born in 1854 at Nottingham, his mother Theresa Brown was born in 1854 at Nottingham, they were maried on 29th September 1872 at St John's Church (Leenside) they went on to have 8 children, saly two were to die in infancy or early childhood..

In the 1911 census the family are living at 3 Bleasby Street, Sneinton, Wiilliam Richard 55 yrs is a house painer he is living with his wife Theresa 52 yrs and their daughter Annie 14 yrs a student.he was the husband of Annie Wilson and they lived at 9 St Luke Street Carlton Road Nottingham.

Military history

Private Henry Wilson enlisted at Nottingham, he served with the 2nd battalion Sherwood Foresters Regiment, he died of wounds on 21st September 1916, he is buried at La Neuville British Cemetery, Corbie, France
