Ernest Perkins was born in 1886 at Nottingham, he was the son of Joseph Perkins (Senior) and Emma Perkins and the Brother of Joseph, Samuel and Percy Perkins.
In 1901 they lived at 83 Newington Street, Manvers Street, Nottingham.
Ernest married Elizabeth Annie Cutts (born 23rd October 1884) at Nottingham St Andrews Church on 17th May 1910 he was the father of Arthur born 9th November 1911.
In 1911 they lived at 1 Magson Terrace, Seymour Street,St. Ann's, Nottingham
