Frank Perry was born in 1899 at Nottingham, he was the son of Arthur an iron turner and Agnes Emma Perry née Maskell and the brother of Mary Harriet and Rita Perry 187 Castle Boulevard, Lenton, Nottingham

His father Arthur was born in 1876 a Nottingham, his mother Agnes Emma Maskell was born in 1873 at Loughborough, they were married on 2nd June 1895 at St Matthias Church, Sneinton, they had 3 children.

In the 1911 census the famili lived at 31 Waterway Street Meadows Nottingham Arthur 35 yrs is an iron turner he is living with his wife Agnes Emma 38 yrs and their children, Mary Harriett 15 yrs a pattern girl, Frank 12 yrs a scholar and Rita 4 yrs of age.

Military history

Driver Frank Perry, enlisted at Nottingham and served with “O” 34th Trench Mortar Battery, Royal Field Artillery, he was killed in action 20th June 1916. He was buried in Becourt Military Cemetery, Bercordel-Becourt Grave Reference: I 0 10
