Arthur Kirk was born in 1881 at Nottingham, he was the son of Elizabeth Kirk and in 1901 they lived at 33 Festus Street Peas Hill Road St Ann's Nottingham. He was the husband Mary Watson born 1887 they were married in Nottingham in 1912,
She married George Bee in 1921 and lived at Welby Grantham Lincolnshire.
Military history
Private Arthur Kirk enlisted at Nottingham, he served with the 2nd battalion Sherwood Foesters Regiment,he died of wounds on 1st December 1914 and is buried in Erquinghem-Lys Churchyard Extension Grave Reference: II G 1
