Military history

Lance Corporal Harry Percy Gregory enlisted at Manchester, he served with the 1/8th battalion Manchester Rgiment, he landed in the Egyptian Theatre, on 25th September 1914, he was killed in action in Gallipoli on 7th August 1915, having no known grave his name is commemorated on the Helles Memorial, Gallipoli.
