Harold Hurt was born in 1899 at Nottingham, he was the only child of Albert Edward a pavior and Mary Hurt née Fell of 7 Lowes Place Leenside Nottingham.

His father Albert Edward was born in 1876 at Nottingham, his mother Mary Fell was born in 1875 at Nottingham, they were married in 1897 at Nottingham.

In th 1911 census the family are living at 7 Lowes Place, Leenside, Nottingham, Albert Edward 35 yrs is a paviour, he is living with his wife Mary 36 yrs and their son Harold, 12 yrs of age.

Military history

Air Mechanic 2nd Class served with the Home Establishment, Royal Air Force, he died on 5th March 1919 he is buried at Nottingham General Cemetery.
