Albert Schofield was born in 1881 at Bolton

He was the husband Of Hannah Fielding (born 29th September 1891,) they were married in 1916 at Bolton, they lived at 8, High St. Avenue, Arnold, Nottingham

Commencing 23rd December 1918 his widow was awarded a pension of 13 shillings and 9 pence a week.

Military history

Private Albert Schofield enlisted at Bolton, he initially served with the service number 17782 in The Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, he later transferred to the Queen's Own (Royal West Kent) Regiment, he was killed in action on 28th March 1918 having no known graves his name is commemorated on the Pozieres Memorial
