Frederick Taylor was born in 1883 at Leicester he was the son of H Taylor of Highfields Leicester.

He was the husband of Elizabeth (born 11th March 1883) they lived at 444 Vernon Road, Old Basfoed, Nottingham.

Commencing 13th March 1916 his widow was awarded a pension of 12 shillings and 6 pence.

Military history

Private Frederick Taylor enlisted at Leicester, he served with the 1st battalion Leicestershire regiment he was killed in action on 23 August 1915 and was buried in La Brique Military Cemetery No.1, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium (grave ref. D.6)
