His father Henry was born in 1855, his mother Charlotte was also born in 1855 both were born in Woodborough
In the 1911 census William is living at Woodborough Village, he is 17 yrs single and a farm labourer, he is living with Herbert Hallam 57 yrs a farmer.
Military history
Private William Snoden enlisted and served with the 1st battalion Sherwood Foresters Regiment, he died on 14th January 1915, having no known grave his name is commemorated on the Le Touret Memorial, France.
