Francis Richardson was born in 1900 at Nottingham he was the son of Elizabeth Richardson of New Basford Nottingham.
In the 1911 census the family are living at 162 Northgate, Basford Nottingham. his mother Elizabeth Richardson is 53 years old, she is single and is a lace curtain mender, she states she is single and has had 2 children, she is living with her children, Florence Ada 27 yrs a laundress in a laundry and Francis 11 yrs a school boy.
Military history
Francis Richardson enlisted at Nottingham, he served with the 19th battalion, Durham Light Infantry, he died of wounds on 2nd October 1918, he is buried at Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery
