Bernard Samuel Abrahall was born in 1896 at Nottingham,he was the son of Walter apaper hanger and Rose Hannah Abrahall née Terzza and the brother of Walter Frederick, Rose, Frank, Edith, Albert, Clement, Harold, Violet and Hilda Abrahall of 13 Bateman Street, Hyson Green, Nottingham.

His father Walter was born in 1863 at London, his mother Rose Hannah Terzza was born in 1867 at Nottingham, they were married on 10th June 1889 at St Ann's Nottingham they wenton to have 10 children.

In 1911, they lived at 12, Howitt Street, Hyson Green, Nottingham, Walter 48 yrs is a paper hanger he is living with hs wife Rose 46 yrs and their 10 children, including Bernard 15 yrs a brass polisher,

Military history

Private Bernard Samuel Abrahall enlisted at Nottingham, he served with the 9th battalion, South Lancashire Regiment, he was killed in action on 18th September 1918 at Salonica he is buried at Doiran Memorial, Greece.
