In the 1911 census the family are living at 6 Windsor Street, Nottingham, Robert 54 yrs is foreman gas worker, he is living with his wife Caroline 51 yrs and his son Frank 19 yrs an accountants clerk, (on the census Robert states he has been married 24 yrs however no trace can be found of this marriage) and has had 2 children.

Tom married Mable Elsie Broadhurst on 14th June 191o at St Marks, Nottingham, he was the father of Eric born 1st January 1911 and Cyril Campion born 4th November 1912, they lived at 4 Windsor Street, Nottingham,

Military history

Private Tom Campion enlisted at Nottingham, he served initially with the service number 176407 in the Royal Engineers he was serving with the with the 22nd Northumberland Fusiliers when he was killed in action on 21st March 1918, having no known grave his nameis commemorated on the Arras Memorial
