Parents: Dewis and Margaret Wilson of 1 Whyatts Yard, Clumber Street, Mansfield.
Private Arthur Wilson, served with the 5/6th Battalion Cameronians (Scottish Rifles), he was killed in action on 20th May 1917. He is commemorated on the Arras Memorial.

Mansfield Man Killed. Pte Arthur Wilson of Scottish Rifles, son of Mr & Mrs Dewis Wilson of 1 Whyatts Yard, Mansfield killed in action on 20/05/1917. He would have been 24 on the 1/7/1917. Photograph printed in the 21/6/1917 edition. He had poor eyesight and had to wear spectacles. He had been in France from 10/1/1917.
This man is commemorated in a book of remembrance held by Mansfield District Council.
