Marianne Battelle Harris was born on 2nd October 1892 she was baptised on 13th November 1892 at St Ann's, Nottingham, she was the only daughter of John Felton Harris a wheelwright and Eliza Harris née Holland.

Her father John Feltonwas born in 1860 at Nottingham, he died in 1896 he was 36 rs of age, her mother Elia Holland, they were married on 13th December 1891 at St Ann's, Nottingham

In 1911 she lived in Lincolnshire with her uncle and aunt at 1 Waterles Street, New Boultham, Lincoln with her uncle and aunt, Herbert Samuel Harris 45yrs a grocer and off license holder nad his wifeAnn Harris 46 yrs

Member Marieanne Bettelle Harris served with the 48th Training Depot Royal Air Force formerly 27th Wing HQ (Waddington) Royal Air Force She died on 15th February 1919 of pneumona, she is buried at All Saints Churchyard Bracebridge, Lincolnshire
