Family history
He was the son of Samual and Mary Lea and the brother of Maria Lea. In 1911, they lived at 26, Jennison Street, Bulwell, Nottingham.
Military history
Private Thomas Henry Lea enlisted at Nottingham, whilst residing at Sneinton. He served with the 1st Battalion Sherwood Foresters Regiment. He went to France on 4th November 1914 and was killed in action, on 11th March 1915 during the Battle of Neuve Chapelle, France.
Commemorated: Le Touret Memorial, France. Panel 26 and 27.
