Family history
John James Ord married Charlotte Stamper in 1898 at Guisbro’. In the 1901 census, they are recorded as having a son, John G Ord who was born in Skelton in Cleveland in 1899 and living at 26 Boosbeck Road, Skelton in Cleveland. After 1911 he later became a resident in Worksop.
Military history
John George Ord enlisted at Retford formerly as 77558, in the 91st T.R. Battn. He died in France and was buried in the Chauny Communal Cemetery British Extension
