Family history

James Victor Hull was born in 1887 at Brighton Sussex, he was the only child of James a workhouse master and Annie Gertrude Hull, née Blake, of the Union Workhouse Stockport.

His father James was born in 1864 at Singleton, Lancashire, his mother Annie Gertrude Blake was born in 1865 at Chester, they were married on 27th September 1884 at Birtle, Lancashire.

In the 1911 census his parents were the Master and Matron of the Union Workshouse at Stockport, his father is 47 yrs and his mother is 46 yrs.

No trace has yet been found for James Vicotr Hull in the 1911 census.

Military history

Bombadier James Victor Hull served with the Royal Field Artilery however he was dischaged on 19th March 1916, at Newcastle Upon Tyne, as no longer being fit for war service, due to pulmanory tuberculoisis , his discharge aged was 28 yrs and 240 days, his discharge address was 20 Beechfield Avenue, Blackpool, Lancashire.

He died from TB on 29th Octoher 1916
