Holy Rood Church, Village Street, Edwalton NG12 4AB. This memorial comprises a brass plaque and a lectern. The inscription on the plaque reads, 'This tablet together with a lectern placed in the church has been erected to the memory of the men of Edwalton who were killed in action during the Great War AD 1914-1918'. There is also a bound Roll of Honour in the church which includes name, unit and 'remarks' which records details such as 'wounded' or 'prisoner of war'. Two men who died of disease, Sub Lt R Elliott RNR and Private CR Orr, Grenadier Guards, are not named on the war memorial.
