The ROH was formerly on the east wall of the church but was moved to the entrance at the west end following major alterations to the interior of the church. The dedication and a design for the window, based on GF Watts' 'Sir Galahad', were approved in May 1919. Hyson Green Congregational Church is now the Boulevard United Reformed Church; the United Reformed Church was formed in 1972 as a union of the Presbyterian Church of England and the Congregational Church in England and Wales.
