Langar with Barnstone - St Andrew's Church (Langar)
St Andrew's church, Church Lane, Langar NG13 9HG. WMA 27255 - a freestanding monument in the churchyard which commemorates men from the parish and congregation who died in the Great War. The names of three men who died in the Second World War have been added. The architect was Geo. M. Silley of London; an architect's blueprint of the monument has a date of July 1919. The memorial was dedicated on 15 May 1920. WMA 59083 - The framed Roll of Honour inside the church commemorates 72 men from Langar with Barnstone who served, 15 of whom died. The Roll of Honour is written in manuscript and the names of those who died are in red.
