Mansfield Swimming Club, Mansfield Swimming Baths. Marble tablet, dedication: 'In memory of the members of the Mansfield Swimming Club who fell in the Great War 1914-1919 (names) Greater love hath no man.' There are also two rolls of honour with the names of those who served and returned. A report was published in the 'Mansfield Reporter & Sutton Times', 14 November 1919, of a dinner to welcome members who had returned from the war. The report included a list of those commemorated on the memorial and included on the Roll of Honour. The The Swimming Baths closed when the new leisure centre, 'Water Meadows', opened and the memorial was transferred to the Mansfield Museum, Leeming Street, Mansfield. Nottinghamshire, NG18 1NG.
