St John's Church Carlton in Lindrick houses a glass-topped lectern containing a Book of Remembrance commemorating eleven local men killed during World War Two.

Also in the church is a bible inscribed

'In sacred memory of the men from this parish who made the supreme sacrifice in the World War 1939-1945' followed by a list of names.
