The Nottinghamshire Roll of Honour was built by Tom Styles, Chief Technology Officer at Tailwind Digital who designed the Roll of Honour in 2013 while working for Nottinghamshire County Council, and completed the modernisation of the site in 2024 alongside Seb Dadbin from Tailwind Digital.
In 2014, consultant Ashley Marron developed Phase 2 of the project in collaboration with Tom Styles and Alec Buchanan.
Lynn Sergant uploaded much of the early data harvested from the city of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire's districts.
Between 2011 and 2018, Dr David Nunn BEM recruited and led teams of volunteers who collected names and researched histories of Nottinghamshire's Great War fallen. He has recently been actively involved in the website's upgrading to accommodate the county's World War Two fatalities.
